The battle is over, and the Sabbat are fleeing Yerba Sur, a city in ruins from mismanagement. Kindred society in Yerba is in tatters, and the victorious Camarilla find themselves in a strange city unlike the one they lost in 1943: flush with strange creatures bearing strange gifts of the blood and even stranger practices.

Downtown has been captured, but the rest of the sprawling kindred city remains in a state of chaos and anarchy as local warlords vie for control. Reasserting Camarilla control and cleaning up countless Masquerade breaches won't be easy; subduing the city's warlords promises to be even more difficult.

Further complicating the situation, whispers that these are the final nights are growing louder. Young kindred, emboldened by the oft-repeated fear, are flocking to cults and worshipping strange gods in hopes of feeding their own lust for power.
